Dyer Street is currently seeking the following Tier II Volunteers:
BASIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS: ALL school volunteers need to fill out the online application, upload proof of their COVID vaccine to the Daily Pass (https://dailypass.lausd.net ), be cleared through the California Megan’s Law website (at the school office), and provide tuberculosis screening evidence (at the school office) every school year. There are no rollover privileges from the previous school year. So, after filling out your application, please drop off a photocopy of your Tuberculosis clearance, which must be no older than 4 years from the date of your application. If you uploaded your vaccine and TB test last year, your online volunteer application may indicate if you still need to do it again.
- ALL Potential Chaperones for Field Trips (Tier II Volunteer Application): For people interested in being chaperones for field trips (even if it is only one day), you need to fill out the application online at https://volunteerapp.lausd.net/. We highly recommend that you do this as soon as possible so that you are eligible as a candidate for any field trips that come up. CHECK THE OPTION THAT SAYS: “Field Trip/Event Chaperone Volunteer.” Filling out this application does not guarantee that you will be selected as a chaperone by the teacher, as there are limits to how many chaperones can attend a field trip, but it does place you on an eligibility list that has been cleared by the district for the teacher to be able to select candidates.
- Classroom or Campus Volunteer (Tier II Volunteer Application): For people interested in being classroom volunteers, you need to fill out the application online at https://volunteerapp.lausd.net/ and follow the instructions for all volunteers. Please connect with your child's teacher to find out how you can help.
Once you are approved as a volunteer by the District, you will be issued a volunteer identification card which will remain in the office for check-out every time you sign in.

Completar esta solicitud no garantiza que será seleccionado como acompañante por el maestro, ya que hay límites en cuanto a la cantidad de chaperones que pueden asistir a una excursión, pero lo coloca en una lista de elegibilidad que ya ha sido aprobada por el distrito para que el maestro pueda seleccionar candidatos.
- Voluntario de aula o campus (Solicitud de Voluntario de Nivel II):Para las personas interesadas en ser voluntarios en el aula para excursiones, deben completar la solicitud en línea en https://volunteerapp.lausd.net y seguir las instrucciones para todos los voluntarios. Comuníquese con el maestro de su hijo para averiguar cómo puede ayudar.
Una vez que el Distrito lo apruebe como voluntario, se le emitirá una tarjeta de identificación de voluntario que permanecerá en la oficina para su salida cada vez que se registre.
